Europäisches Label für Jugendzentren

Anbei die Ausschreibung einer Veranstaltung des Europarates über die Qualitätskriterien und Standards, die Jugendzentren haben sollten, um das Europäische Label zu bekommen.

 Presentation of the Forum - Call for Participants

To the members of the CDEJ and AC
Please find enclosed the presentation and application form for the 1st European Forum of Youth Centres, which will be held at the European Youth Centre Budapest from 25 - 27 February 2010. The 1st European Forum of Youth Centres aims to encourage professional exchange for people responsible for youth centres in member states wishing to associate to Council of Europe youth policy.
In March 2009, the European Steering Committee on Youth decided to create a framework for exchange and mutual enrichment of already existing and planned youth centres wishing to subscribe to Council of Europe values. In November 2009, a joint expert group of the CDEJ and AC met to develop the concept further.
The recommendations of the group of experts and the results of the Forum shall be presented to the statutory meetings in March 2010.
The enclosed invitation was sent to those institutions and organisations who have previously expressed an interest in getting involved in the process. The Forum is being organised for participants with a concrete project, i.e. either people responsible for a physical youth centre or those intending to set up a new centre along the criteria proposed. Please refer to the enclosed document for further information on the objectives, profile of participants, programme and application procedures.
If you know interested and suitable applicants, we kindly ask you to forward the information. The deadline for applications is 19 January 2010.
